In 2006, consumer debt in the U.S surpassed #2.3 trillion dollars Credit card account for nearly half of that debt. In the last decade credit cards has quadrupled. The average American household has 11 credit cards with a balance of over $12,000 at an average interest rate of 18%. We really make no sense when you consider why we left England in the first place because we were be tax. Today we decide to pay interest free more than double what our fore fathers were paying.

If you make the minimum payment on that debt, at 18%, it will take you almost 34 years to pay it off and will cost you almost $18,00 in interest alone.  

What is the difference between wealth and rich? A rich person may make a lot of moeny but they spend a lot too. A welathy person does not always make a lot of money but they money they make exceeds their expenses.
